PUBLICATIONS EKBt ' - i rr: »r •.»7 •■ ' ■ Si5i ' . ia- -;ii Just one, big, happy family. BOARD OF STUDENT PUBLICATIONS Student publications Inave been a vital force in the life of North Carolina State for many years. Since its inception in 1931, the Board of Student Publica- tions has served as a clearing house for nominations, policy, and assorted grievances. Nine student publications are coordinated through the Board: the Agromeck, Technician, WKNC, South- ern Engineer, Textile Forum, Pinetum, Ag Student, Vo-Ag, and the Student Publication of the School of Design. This year the Board took a major step in removing from the general elections the selection of the Agro- meck and Technician editors and the WKNC station manager. The Board also contemplated merging with the IDC and Erdahl-Cloyd Union in a greatly improved spring banquet featuring a nationally known speaker. k i Mrs. Carol Hill Kenfield . . . Jack of all trades. ' [58]

AGROMECK BILL WHITE Editor ▼ The Agromeck is an attempt to portray North Caro- lina State as we know it: some successes and some failures. The staff dallies at the beginning of the year . . . Editor White writes us a letter ... the big push is on . . . Warden and Vogler make the Big Time . . . Sammy drops out of school . . . The staff editors lose track of time . . . The book is put out . . . Every- body is happy ... We all take a drink. This year the book is more informal in an attempt to depict State as she really is. We hope you ' ll like it. SAMMY THOMASSON Managing Editor [60]
