Glenwood Davis Bus. Mgr. CAMPUS ECHO The purpose of the Campus Echo is to build pride that is the basis of school spirit; to interpret the newsworthy events in the life of this institution; and to provide a medium of expression for students interested in writing for publication. As we all know, Socrates said, Know Thyself. I ' d like to say, Know thyself, express thyself and through writing, perhaps others will learn themselves.

MMiiummiin EX UMBRA The purpose of Ex Umbra is to promote student interest in the liberal arts, stimulate the student body toward free artful expression, enlighten and lend a more sophisticated atmosphere to the University community, and to create a forum whereby student talent may be given recognition. Ex Umbra is Latin for out of the shadows. This name was chosen because the members of the organization feel that the creative students at NCCU are too much in the shadows, and they need to be brought out into the light where their fellow students can recognize and enjoy their work.
