NCC ' s retired president, Dr. Alfonso Elder, com- mented on Dr. Lee ' s death by saying, We shall al- ways be indebted to him for the leadership which he provided in the designing and planning of our biol- ogy building. His impact upon generations of our stu- dents is indelibly written in the substantial and suc- cessful accomplishments which these students are ex- hibiting in their professional pursuits today. DR. JAMES S. LEE The untimely passing of Daniel Eric Moore come as a shock to family, relatives, friends, and associates throughout the nation. Mr. Moore was the son of a former North Carolina College dean, the late Reverend John H. Moore. Dean D. He first came to North Carolina College as librar- ian of the Law School in 1940. After a short stay, he left to serve in the U.S. Army.
