The club is opened to any student who has an interest in the various areas of science. One of the future plans of the club is to plant flowers and shrubs in the smoking area of the high school. 143 Music Madness Stage Band This year the Concert and Stage Bands, conducted by Miss Beth Graham, have broadened their horizons. Their music has expanded to include selections from sonatas to roaring renditions of jazz hits. Co-Captain Dave Quintal remained undefeated for the second straight year, and set a new school record for the 2.65 mile course with a time of 12 minutes and 45 seconds. In addition to winning the Cape Ann League Title, the local harriers also finished second in the Northern Area and fourth in the State. Coach Crozier ' s gropplers hove now extended their record to 90 undefeated dual meets over o five year period. The team captured their fourth con¬ secutive Cope Ann League Championship and their fourth consecutive Sectional title. With a number of returning lettermen, next year ' s team should be in contention for the league title, unless proposition 272 leads to the demise of a very popular sport. In spite of their record, the girls never gave up and continued to play aggressively throughout the fall season. With the return next year of a large contingent of experienced varsity players, the team should prove to be much more competitive in league play.
