Administrators Supervise Curricula s principal of the Senior High. Mr. C. E. Potter had the duty of executing the plans and policies of the Board of Education. He super- vised scholastic developments and school activities, so that Normandy achieved recognition through its high standards. The assistant principal, Mr. Walter C. Bergmann, constantly strove to teach self-discipline and self- control to students. Another of his duties was to Dedication or fourteen years the inspiration of the Social Studies Department was its chairman. Xvhile teaching United States and lVorld History, he displayed such knowledge and ability that he gained the respect of the students and faculty. For twelve years he planned the numerous activities which have made the department up-to-date in its curriculum and presentation of subject matter. ln recognition of his contributions, the l959 Staff dedicates the thirty-sixth edition of the Saga to Dr. Benjamin G.
