OOK at our high school. Through the window of time, the past, present and future move endlessly, forever displaying unfor- gettable scenes. Bringing to the students of Normandy the fond memories of a thrilling, action-packed and memorable school year is the purpose of the 1955 Saga staff. Using expressive copy and meaningful pictures, the Saga takes a look at Normandy. As the past unfolds, each one will remember the diligent, intensive but re- warding work in hitting the books, the thrills and chills of a closely fought battle on the gridiron or the enchanting music at the Beaux Arts Ball. The student will recall the routine bus ride, the elatter and t-lang of locker doors and the laughter and shouting during lunch time. Graduation found juniors and Sophomores eagerly moving up a grade and Seniors sadly bidding farewell. No one will forget the friendships developed. the qualities of leadership, initiative and honesty that were stressed and the satisfaction of jobs well done both in sehool work and extraeurrivular at-titities. ln future years every- one will observe Norrnnndy through the window of time and will rerneniher what an important step our sc-hor-l was tothe sum-ess and vontentlnent of later life.
