Department In the Greenhouse The greenhouse on the south end of the junior building is a real boon to the junior high science classes. This enables the students to study plants all year around. Book-Learning After they collect their impressions from what they see in the greenhouse, these iunior students look up references on the subject to see how nearly correct their inferences are The experience that others have written into books, plus their own observation, gives them a real knowledge of the subject. Chemistry Experiment Working individually and in pairs, chemistry students find out experi- mentally the whap and tow of chemical reaction. Their study is con- cerned chiefly with important industrial processes. Biology Class Biology students not only study in- sects and animals but also the trees and plants found in this district.
