During the past year the Georffe WHShl1lg't01l Grade School has been completed, This new and modim educational center was built for the benefit of Vinita Park pupils who formerly were forced to attend the Harrison School. X Skelley Miller Kruse Rothenberg' Froyy Talley Liese The late bond issue, sanctioned April T, 1931, by Normandy property owners, amounted to titty thousand dollars. llappily it did not increase the preceding tax-rate. These bonds are made possible by the increase of assessable property in the district. They will be used to provide ' ' ' ' ti G' ti Xld Harrison, Lincoln, Mc- ' in unproxements and l110ll91'lllAdl10IlS a ar e , Kinley, and Roosevelt. and to obtain new school sites while prices are low. This is a strategic move toward better school conditions in later years. Added to this the entire faculty of the Normandy District has been raised from one hundre d and nine to one hundred and eighteen.
