CUSTODIAL AND FOOD SERVICES Security, foods and custodial services are an essential part of the functioning of Norco High. Every nnorning students are greeted at the entrance by big snniles fronn Don Shelton and Mike Dohonue who keep the parking lots safe all day. Head custodian Frank Hernandez always has a friendly word for students and staff. At snack and lunch students rush to the cafeteria for some nourishment. Cafeteria Staff. GUIDANCE The guidance department is at Norco High to help the students plan tor their tuture. Mr. Brown, Mrs. Green, Mr. Lillibridge, and Mrs. Monty are the four counselors but they are not the only people in guidance. Mrs. Pat Seaton, the registrar, and Mrs. Sherry MacMillan, the guidance secretary, assist the counselors with transfers, class changes and transcript records. Mrs. Joan Hall runs the career center where students can get information on hundreds of possible careers for their future. ARTS CRAFTS The main purpose of the art department at Norco High is to give students the opportunity to use their imagination and creativ- ity to the fullest. In all of the classes offered by the art depart- ment, students learn the basic elements of art, such as: line, col- or, texture and form. They experi- ment with different techniques and learn about decision making in style and content through pro- jects that they plan and produce themselves. Whether a student is enrolled in arts and crafts, drav - ing and painting or ceramics, they will have much fun exploring the many different areas included in art. Norco High School is proud to have three such talent- ed teachers as Mr. Hal Swegh- eimer, Mr. Jerry Smith and Ms. Holly Symons doing their best to show the students that art can be a fun experience as well as an important part of their schooling.
