FLOAT BUILDING A large part of homecoming week is the preparation for the float contest among the classes. Every night for a week, the students gathered at Ingalls park to work on the floats. It was rather funny to see how many seniors suddenly volunteered to tie the napkins on to the chicken wire once tfie paper mache material was brought out, but in the end no one escaped from the gooey substance. Everyone eagerly awaited the final mo- ment when the winner would be announced, but it was really no surprise when the senior float won. 1 ' r, Wendy Webb, Barbara Reisdorf.
