NOOKSACK'S TALENTED TRACKM EN The Pioneers had a new but very talented group of boys participating in the running and field sports of the T955 track season. Only two returning lettermen, David Schweigert and Bill Sturgeon, were members of the team. Two boys, both of whom are sophomores, placed in the Whatcom County track and field meet. Evan Lee won second in the 440 yard run and Neal Langley took third in the mile, this gave them a chance to enter the district meet. The Pioneers are expected to be much Stronger next year for they will have practically the entire team returning. Much will be expected from the talented freshmen who also had a county meet this year. Two Nooksack freshmen, Bill Schweigert and Cliff Russell, placed in this meet.
