JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY The Class of '56 began their most active year in high school with a balance of only 58.07. By selling ice cream at basketball games and presenting a class play, The Cannibal Queen, they built up their meager funds to a balance of SZIO. Throughout the year numerous Juniors participated in athletics, music, dramatics, and various other school functions. Doris Greenfield and Juanita Perry represented the class as cheerleaders. Glenn Walker made a special visit to the legislature. On April IQ, seven students of our class visited Western Washington College of Education for their annual career day. The Juniors ended their activities for the year on May 6 by giving a prom and banquet. With the theme, Starlight, it was held in the Everson-Noolcsack Grade School cafeteria. Cherished memories will long remain for all who attended. Next year the vacancy left by the graduating seniors will be adequately filled by these capable juniors. JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS-BACK ROW: Ronnie Holmes, President, Mr. Pulley, Advisor, Carl Muhr, Council Member. FRONT ROW: Joanne Meece, Council Member, Gladys McDowell, Secretary-Treasurer, Bob Eiene, Vice President. 1 'l l v: V X D JJ- Q I 1T 7 il 0 C f'-ff -A
