Nolan Cakes Secand in State The Nolan '66 basketball team, through constant effort and sportsmanlike teamwork, not only wins district but also takes first runner-up position in the state play-offs. Thanks to the efforts of Nolan's all- state players Ed Fonner and Mike Thompson and all district player Sam Rodriquiz, Nolan succeeded in winning six straight games in district play. District play is not their only area of success however.
