Refinishing otlgQ.D!,fh.2,dCf0!Ld., The N T H S troupe has had a very interesting night life in addltlon to their daytime work The social season opened with a faculty get acquainted party given by Miss Pircher and Miss Yackle From all vie he ir the teacheis dropped all formality had a good time and left the palty better acquainted The next social event was a hayride given by the iuniors A very large group of students met at the park and crowded on three wagons They rode out into the country after which thev had a wiener roast fthose who were lucky enough to find vsiencrsj Coming back to town they didn t take such a roundabout way The poor freshmen were the obiect of the next get together where they were duly 1n1t1ated by the ophomores while every one enloyed watch ing the freshmen suffer A dinner was served to the Faculty and Bo ud by the Home Ec de partment After the meal the guests ioined in games led by Miss Short enhaus It was a very pleasant evening for the teachers and board mem bers The Junior Senior Chustmas panty was a gala affair with holiday decorations and festivities A very large number attended A short pro gram was staged by the seniors After refreshments Santa Claus came and danced The party was a great success and everyone vsent home happy A barn dance was given for the F H A by the F F A Entrance to the dance was by a tiansom ox er the door and down a ladder After an evening of strenuous old time dancing refieshments of cider and doughnuts were served In return for the entertainment given them the F H A gave the F F A boys a St Patrick s Day partv Four of the evenings weie open to the public the football carnival at which the entire community gathered for an evening of fun and aban don and the three plays presented by the iumois faculty and seniois for the entertainment of ex eryone The iuniors gave the seniors their fxrewell party in the foim of a Junior Senior Prom the theme of which vs is a Southern Plantation Party Here the directors st :ge managers md st us xx eie on their good behavior and were verv grateful to the understudies for 1 memorible evening Truly the N TH S diversions for 1946 47 have been worthwhile and no doubt will long be remembered xx hen the troupe haxe scatteied to their various walks in life lr: Il I I l i .H .
