This was one of fhe mosf successfull fournamenfs helcl, nof only fhe financial parf buf also for fhe good sporfsmanship of 'rhe feams. Nogales missed fhe Sfafe Tournamenf when fhey losf fo Douglas by an I8-.l7 scpre affer defeafing a sfrong San Simon feam. i James Goodman. Nogales sfar, was chosen for All-Conference feam, while Alex Durazo and Henry Paffon were given honorable menfion. BASKETBALL SECOND TEAM The second feam was quife successful winning six games and losing fhree. Their opponenfs were Tombsfone, Pafagonia, Deaf and Dumb School, Tucson High School, Florence. S+. David. The members of fhe feam are as follows: Enrique Gomes, Billy Mahlow, Alex Leyva, Jesus Sofomayor, Venfura Rodriguez, Billy Welfy, Jack Tifcomb, Dan Quen, Edward Acedo, Ralph Robles, and Roberf Yslas.
