A sTudenT To receive This honor musT be well balanced and ouTsTanding in scholarship in The upper one-Third of his class, preferably The upper quarTer of his class. He musT show leadership in The various phases of school acTiviTies. He musT noT only be a leader buT able To Tollow and cooperaTe in all fields oT endeavor. LasT year The presidenT oT The Commercial Club, Ignacio CasTro, won boTh cups. Every member oT The Commercial Club is a member oT The NaTional Commercial OrganizaTion sponsored by The Gregg Publishing Company of New York. This company sends ouT TesTs and each club member Takes The TesT and his examinaTion paper is senT in To New York Tor examinaTion and if successful is awarded cerTiTicaTes and winners' pins.
