AlThough fearful of The upper classmen, They proved ThaT year by giving a dance, by placing second in The Queen ConTesT, and by playing an imporTanT parT in aThleTics, ThaT They were To be one of The mosT acTive classes To be graduaTed from N. H. S. I934-35 Greenies -WhaT a Thrill looking awe-sTruck aT The mighTy seniors, fearful of The Teachers, buT noT Tor long. ln Two weeks' Time The noisiesT class in high school hi+ Their sTride. As freshmen The class of '38 was ouTsTanding in every deparTmenT of school life. Their dances were The besT, They placed second in The King ConTesT. Gus Franklin was ouTsTanding in Track Taking almosT all The prizes won by Nogales in The Douglas Track meeT. The class under The sponsorship of Mr. L. Bellman wiTh Gerald Zenizo as presidenT was The mosT loyal group and The mosT acTive in high school. In I935-36. sTill under The able sponsorship of Mr. L.
