MISS MARGARET HANDLEY In the fall of 1936 when Ignacio Castro and Miss Handley took over their duties as Editor and Sponsor, they immediately set to work and with the aid of the staff published the first edition of the Warcry on September 30. The usual mirneo- qraphed monthly tad was again carried throughout the first semester. However, a new feature was introduced the second part of the year: the Warcry changed into a Weekly and was published every Friday. Due to the Business Manager's absence, Assistant Manager Patty Cohen, with the aid of Blossom Capin and Barbara Macdonald carried on the work. The Staff takes great pleasure in presenting to you the 1937 edition of the High School Adobe. lt has published this edition with the hope that the mem- ories ofthe school years, '36 and '37, will linger on. The Quill and Scroll, International Honorary Society for High School Iournal- ists, was organized in the Nogales High School by Miss Margaret Handley in 1935. Its members are chosen from among members of the Iunior and Senior Classes who are in the upper one third ot their class in scholastic standing, who have Worked on the Warcry staff, and Who have been recommended by the Warcry sponsor according to the work they have done on the Warcry.
