The 1950-51 season has been one of pleasurable success for the fifty members of the N. H. S. band. They enjoyed trips to the Cooke County Fair, the Montague County Fair, the State Fair of Texas at Dallas, the Midwestern U.I-Iomecoming at Wichita Falls, football games at Jacksboro, Newcastle, Iowa Park, Birdville, and Decatur, the regional marching contest at Wichita Falls, and the regional spring contest at Denton. The quality of musicianship improved greatly over last year-'s work, with the addition of four new French horns, a new bass horn, and a bass drum. As a colorful marching unit, the band earned top rating. -.ul Z B 1 vull X Chunrilc L1r1yClark Gln srCOrl0y f- 'U' D1ana Flynt Jlmmy Dauvherty Jean Ell1s I1mmy Enlow Earl Pr1ce F1tts ln ,A L. 47 Ruth Janeway Loyd Garland Jack Cust Rxchard Gr1ff1th Dane Hutchlns .f Carl VS ,xyne Jones A A 58 Estahne Motley S P1ngCnOt Lynn Plxley Barb Reynolds 1 ,SML Ellgn Jgngg Ralph L1ndsay J lmes McPherson S lm McPherson if fi Duane and Lowell R1tCh16 GV! :fx IMI ' s-4' A .1 . ,QQ " " 1' I, .- . ,A ' I x -9 . , -X ' ' ' " I .
