The Club's first major activity took place in November during National Education Week when the annual tea was held at which all teachers in the county were guests of F. T. A. This event has become increasingly popular through the years. The next important item on the calendar was the Christmas party. Among the festivities, Senior members began to make tentative plans for their student teaching experiences. January saw more complete plans being made, and in February, March, and the early part of April, the senior F. T. A. 'ers were busy making lesson plans, conferring with their supervising teachers, and actually finding themselves at the front of classes of eager grade schoolers! The planning and student teaching were exciting experiences which were shared with underclass members of F. T. A. April is Teaching Career Month, and in honor of this, senior members were guests of the Niobrara County Education Association din- ner meeting. May 's inclement weather cancelled their annual picnic, but those members who taught at the Lusk Grade School were able to show their appreciation to their supervising teachers by taking them out to dinner. This proved such a success the organization hopes to make this dinner an annual event. Future Teachers of America OFFICERS: S. Bigelow, Treas.g R. Thompson, Pres.: C. Germann D. Rapp, Sec.
