These activities afford opportunities for initative, self-expression, and leadership. We students learn to work co¬ operatively and to assume responsibility thus preparing us for our after school life. Through the student activity program, the school hopes to train us teenagers to discriminate in our choice of recreation so that in later life we will select social activities in keeping with our principles. These school sponsored functions are not only a wholesome use of leisure time, but the enjoyment that accompa¬ nies them will always remain treasured memories ol our school life at Ninth Avenue.
