TEAMWORK A TRADITION The seventh grade has chosen to call themselves the DECK CREW. Each home- base has the name of a plane which flies from the deck of the aircraft carrier Nimitz: Harrison's Viking'sg Kennett's Tomcat's, Trotter's Whales, Fergu- son's Prowlersg Barlow's Sea Kingsg Bradshaw's Phan- toms, Goble's Hummersg HiIl's Corsairs, and Flowe's intruders. Each room made a banner spelling out the name in the international flag code. To complete the identification each student was made a button to wear by a group of dedicated mothers. In this spirit of team work they have participated in intramural sports activities, a grounds clean-up program, field trips, an in-depth study of Halley's Comet, recognizing outstanding achievements with a weekly award to the CREW-MEMBER-OF-THE-WEEK and during all school assemblies, the CREW-MEMBER-OF-THE-QUARTER.
