Spirit Spreads Quickly
Throughout the School
he 1984 Spirit Week was full of
enthusiasm and a new building
towards school pride. This week,
Jnrior to the annual Homecoming
game, was designe to promote school spirit and sup-
port of the football team. Each day, as always, was
assigned a different theme and students and teachers
alike were encouraged to participate.
The week started out with everyone showing their
spirit on their feet by wearing the craziest socks they
had. This l'foot action" had all students in their best.
The following day, Nimitz students 'capped on
Aldine." Students came to school in the most outland-
ish headgear they owned. Midweek found the
Cougars sporting the most unusual glasses. People
everywhere were "shading the Mustangs."
Finally, the long awaited Blue and Cold day arrived.
Decked out in school colors, students displayed their
spirit and pride. Senior students surprised all by com-
ing to school in blue and gold 'Beat Aldine" shirts. The
week closed with spirit overflowing into the evening's
fan filled game against Aldine.
