This is the first time in the history of the Newton High an- nual that color pages will be used. r r l To maintain a colorful and exciting school year, the 'staff decided to enlarge the new year? boolclso as to allow more pictures and better cov- erage on school curriculum. 1 I it was decided by the staff tocelebratefthe Centennial by ,using the' theme, :iYesterday, To- day, and Tomorrow. Editor Debbie Hwa de- signed the division pagesto carry out the theme. Olther members of the staff were seniors Amy Button, Lori Fletcher, Kit Hanna, Donna Heffel- bower, Debbie Hwa, Dale Krueger, Greg Vogt, and Montyfwallcer, jluniorslincluded Marilyn King, Bruce Love, Clit Overholt, and photogra4 phers George Krievins and Sarakenner. Students study during their Communications III class on the unit over the short sto ry The course includes all aspects of English and was new this year.
