Sanderson, traveled to Hutchinson to play at the State Fair. It played during all the home football games and partici- pated in Band Day at Kansas State University. The Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Gary Fletcher, had 50 members. It performed at concerts and programs. The Orchestra gave a spring concert and spent one day on tour playing for assemblies in other schools. Special groups attended the District Music Festival.
