Senior: Claaa High school is over ...... As graduation approached, it seemed impossible that the happy days in NHS were drawing to a close. Feelings of joy and accomplishment were mingled with sadness, for we hated to leave wonderful memories and friends. Our sophomore ear we began to realize the role we had to fulfill as active members of the student body. As iuniors we presented Peg O' My Heart, appropriately on Valentine's Day, and in the spring honored the seniors of '57 with the recep- tion and prom. During our senior year the bonds of friend- ship grew stronger. As we moved into the hallowed grounds, Senior Alley, we realized this was our last year and set out to make if Our best. With this goal in mind, we made our class play, Out of The Frying Pan, a success. The year sped quickly by with WPA week, the skating party, iunior-senior events, and the beloved senior banquet, reception and prom. Then the final stop. : . .graduation . Yes, our days in Newton High are over, but we, the class of '58, shall relive its memories time and time again.
