This year under the able leadership of Ruth Nichol, many new ideas were promoted in the activities of the school . Among these were the Winter Dance, the writing ofthe school alma mater, Student Handbook of T957-1958, and an assembly almost every Friday. The Student Council has done on outstanding job in representing and carrying out the will of the students.

Among the numerous duties 'performed by J them are collecting absence reports, taking messages, and conducting visitors through the halls. The W teachers and personnel are aided J by the monitors. orgies arm The very important duties of keeping the school records in order, recording absences, excuses, and F tardies, and assisting the school secretary, Mrs. Connie Hampton, are ably performed by our office J girls . ' . Lilmaniana Our school librarian, Miss J Shirley Bobelc, is assisted in her duties by the library assistants. They catalogue the books and help keep the newspapers and magazines in order.
