Since that first play, The Unexpectednerr of Diomba, this event has become one that is eagerly awaited by the Senior Class and all of Newton High School. This yeat's play, Anastasia, is one that will be long remembered by its cast, committees, and audience. Under the direction of Mr. Spink, the cast created the mood of suspense and uncertainty so necessary for the appreciation of the play. Because of their inter- pretation, many of us are still wondering whether Anastasia is the heiress she claims to be. Behind the scenes, Mr. Chase and his crew, the various committees, and the student directors worked together to insure the effectiveness of the production. Cooperation was the key word among all affiliated with Anartatia. The result was a wonderful show which was enjoyed by all.

Fun and food, first and foremost - that was this year's Senior Supper. Platters of ham and turkey, shimmering molds of many kinds, more than a dozen ice-Cream Havors, and a huge, tiered birthday cake were served buffet style. After everyone had eaten himself into contented silence, M. C. Bill Doyle pre- sented the entertainment and started a song fest. Hands clapping, feet stomping, voices ringing out, the Seniors took partners and formed groups for the evenings feature - folk and square dancing. All too soon, the Senior Supper was over, and 700 happy Seniors left the school more exhausted than they could have been after a week of finals. Adviser: Miss Margaret South. SENICJR SUPPER
