Newton's hammy set enioyed themselves greatly this year by transmitting and receiving, and by visiting radio and television stations. Once a week, a code class was held for members desiring to become amateur radio operators, and on Sundays there was a Radio Net at 8 P.M. on the Ten Meter Board. Some of the licensed members are these: WnlFWO, WIABN, WlBFM, and WnlGUS. The club call is WISCW. President ....................................... ........ I' May, when the Newton High Latin Club was host to the Massachusetts branch of the 52 Junior Classical League for their annual meeting. Some of their activities included a movie on rheumatic fever, a talk on electronics, a trip to M.l.T. to see the electron microscope, and a science fair project entitled Physics in the Human Body.
