Although its members were not able to gain field experience, the Club pro- vided films, slides, and lectures to increase the skills of the country's future Dan'l Boones. As an added feature, the Club contributed an interesting project to the annual Science Fair. The eager, would-be thespians of Newton High School enjoyed an interesting year on and around the stage. Members of the Drama Club participated in many activities which furthered their knowledge and experience about the theater. The narration of Christmas Vespers, the sponsorship ot a one-act play festival, the annual theatre party, speakers, and dis- cussions were all a part of the club's busy program.
