Such were the snatches of conver- sation which fell upon the ears of passersby at the opening of the bi-weekly meetings of the Legislature. This important branch of our school government argued the pros and cons of sugges- tions made by our representatives. They then rejected the proposals or sent them to the Execu- tive Council for the deciding vote.
