Meredith is a former Dallas Cowboy and sportscaster on ABC's MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL. He is currently under contract with NBC as a sports commentator. Rhonda is a sophomore and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Ratliff. She moved to Dalhart shortly before the contest winners were announced. Rhonda served as freshman cheerleader and was reporter of her freshman class. She had a major role in this year's musical "Bye Bye Birdie." She was also involved in volleyball. Junior Vicki Waddell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Waddell, was announced as first runner-up. Vicki has been ' a freshman cheerleader, sophomore class favorite, and duchess of her junior class. A senior took the honors of sec- ond runner-up. Rebecca Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Taylor, is co-editor of this year's Yucca Gloriosa.
