After speaking to one of the passengers seated near me about the intelligent looking boy with the Hawaiian-bound group, I learned it was hats OH to Laverne. He served as vice-president of the class and also as business manager of the year book. Flick was very much interested in schoolwork and really enjoyed history. He finds Jacksonls term of office more in- teresting than the latest song hit. A whiz at bookkeeping, Laverne demonstrated his neat penmanship. Neatness is an outstanding characteristic of Laverne.
