In the happy time of school days,
In the joy of life's bright morng
When we arm for coming battles,
Where our future hopes are borng
As we struggle up and onward

Though we are not great and mighty
In the realms of name and fame,
And thou-gh in the book of glory,

On the diamond and the track,

When at last we take our places
For the voyage of our life
And when all our fortunes fail us
When assailed by storm or strife:
When we're threatened with destruction

And we rest, to work no more
