3 For a moment, remove yourself from the red brick exterior, from the smooth cement facade, from the battleship grey walls to a world distant from the daily school existence of algebra homework, biology notes, and English papers. Imagine yourself living in a world that extends beyond math, English, science, US history, consumer and physical education. You will find yourself afloat in a veritable sea of places, politics, people, entertainment, events . . . in a word, life. Think of the locations: shopping at Northbrook court or Water Tower place, hearing fine jazz at Amazing Grace, attending a live concert at the Stadium, listening to the Chicago symphony orchestra, cheering at Comiskey park at SoIdier's or Wrigley field, cursing at O'Hare, living in Chicago, rescuing at Entebbe, exploring on Mars, or filling up the car at Plains.
