The Cook County Hospital. Illinois State Mental Hos- pital. Montrose Urban Progress Center. and Noyes and Orrington Schools in Evanston. are a few of the centers where Social Service members sparked their tutee's interl ests in academic subjects. Sports. dancing. and movies were means of stimulating enthusiasm. Tutors participated in weekly seminars where they discussed problems encountered in the tield and future plans. Ambitious idealism was soon refined and the sensitive l student found value in a quiet hour of understanding and l helping someone else. good book and a real friend are all that are needed to make this little girl smile, tUgu't'nfI

Yea! Rah! lt's Girls' Club! The enthusiasm of these girls was displayed in Friendly Week's dress up day flose your cool because Nobody's Perfect J and the Daddy Daughter Dinner Dance. Lov- ing You Has Made Me Bananas. Also successful was the new approach to the annual fall charity drive which earned funds for the starving people of Biafra. This year, students earned the money by doing odd jobs for township residents rather than simply requesting donations. The project netted nearly three times the amount ot' money gained in any previous drive. The queen and court of Girls' Club reign over the festive homecoming ptride lxfllwlllll
