A neu' hoard position was crezttetl by the nddition of Il eo-head of Unity and Spirit. These eo-heads provided n lini- son between Pep Club, Council, and the students. Unity was needed, not only within the school, hut between the lfast and Vilest campuses as well. This attempt for unity was achieved by passing the East-lVest Unity hill. This bill provided for jnint meetings of the student cabinets of both schools once :i month. Student Council achieved the goals it attempted. It made the students :nvnre of their responsibilities to the school, and more itnportztnt, to themselves. The hoard has hecome more vitally involved in Council nflnirs by enlarging their com- mittees :tnd stuffs, thus enabling closer contnrt with the en- tire student body. The vitality :ind initiative shown by the neu' officers and board during their first semester in udice prophesied the merit of the ideas to come in the future.
