During the year, also, a never-ending battle was waged to improve conditions in the lunch hall. ln an effort to change the indifferent attitude of the students, the name was formally changed to the dining hall, plans were made to remodel the room and make it more homelike, and music was added. This final attempt met with mixed success. llany people complained, if not about the idea of music in the dining hall, at least about the taste of those responsible for the programing. VZ? The book- let by which the Code had been presented to the students was replaced by a metal plaque containing the principles of the Code to be placed in the rotunda, and wallet- sized copies to be distributed to the stu- dents.
