Perhaps this accounts for the outstanding highlights in musical entertainment which this year's music department has oifered. The annual Christmas concert, usually presented in both the afternoon and evening, was nearly cut down to one concert this year. It was thought that the lack of transportation might endanger the attendance. However, the two concerts were given, luckily, for New Trier's musical ability is well known and the lack of transportation did not stop people from coming. The concert itself was beautiful to hear as well as thrilling to behold.
