INTER-CLUB BOARD ' The Inter-Club Board which was organized this year takes the Place of the Student Cuncil of former years. lVIr. Clerk felt that a board composed of the ofiicers of the Girls' and Tri- ship Clubs, who with the exception of four out of the eighteen members are Seniors, would function more effec- tively than the Student Council which had been composed of a student repre- sentative from each advisor room. The duties of the Board are as fol- lows: CU To advise the adaministra- tion on any school policy when re- quested to do so: CZD To interpret the sentiment of the student body to the administration of the schoolg C31 To interpret the policies of the admin- istration to the student bodyg C4-D To call the attention of the administra- tion to problems which the students believe to be acute, and to advise the school administration on these prob- lems. The Board takes up only business which is presented by petition. VVhen this is done full consideration is given the request and official action is then taken. At times the members feel it necessary to have further student opinion on matters which are to be settled. In this case they refer to the club representatives at their regular meeting. This body has met and solved many important problems very satisfactorily and it is hoped that it may continue to do so in the future. The members of the Board are: Sally Kriebel, Jean Lindstrom, Polly Spiegel, Ruth Offner, Harriette VVeb- ster, Betty Buckett, Sue Turney, lVIary Jeanne Tansill, Agnes Halley, John Barden, George Quinlan, Bill Sundlof, George Boylston, Dorrance Nygaard, Roy West, Fred Lind, Colin Finlayson, and Tom Sinding.
