When they're needed desperately, though, they can't be scared up by wav- ing a dollar bill. However, we must ad- mit they do their share of work in the equipment room and at ball games. They have to hang up suits, shine balls, keep the records up-to-date and perform a few other odd iobs. We're sure the coach considers himself fortunate to have these managers.
