Threats of strike were made by the petitioners and prac- tice strikes did take place with little Visible results. Talk took place over many months. Finally, the student body, with the backing of the S.E.B., took action-a mass strike swept the campus. Within 2Vz days they accomplished what the petitioners had been trying to do since September. Heussler Resiqnedl!!! Now in April with many of the repercussions disappear- ing from the scene a new president will be announced. Question is now, what will happn to the future of T.S.C. in the hands of a new president, our fourth president in five and one half years? '

69-70 has certainly proven to be a chaotic one for those en- volved at Trenton State. One of the hottest issues to come to the surface was Heuss1er versus the Petitioners . When students arrived in September they found faculty were held to present both sides, to the students and all con- cerned. The Board of Trustees was also present and questioned extensively, although many left unsatisfied. This dissatisfaction led to picket lines on campus and in front of Board members' places of business.
