Administration Department, or ADMIN, has one mission, support. Unlike an operational exercise that begins or ends at the pier, this suppor continues 365 days a year and in fact, reboudlbes when The Battleship pulls into port. The quality and timeliness of the work performed by this department is just as critical to combat readiness as a weapons system. In the span of one year the Battleship Administration department transfers over 1,000 personnelg in a six month period more than 450 Navy exams are administered, each month 35 pounds of photographs are developed, and in one day over 4,000 pieces of paper are printed.
