OE DIVISIGN The Electronic Technicians of OE Division are responsible for maintaining all of New Jerseyis communications, radar, and electronic navigation systems. From satellite systems to Sony Walkmans to photo enlargers and developers, when anything electronic stops working, an ET is summoned to fix it. They repair the video games on the mess decks, the computers that make out our paychecks, and the centrifuges that spin samples for the oil lab. Not only are they the ace technicians on The Battleship, but when a ship in company has a problem, The New Jersey's ETS are there to help. During the deployment they repaired equipment on the Brewton, Berkeley, and Ingersoll. When an ET tells you he can't fix it, then it just ain't brokef' ET2 Adams ET1 Barnhouse ET2 Bradley ET1 Gray ET3 Hakes ET2 Hunter ET2 Lanver ET3 Mafnas ET3 Mills ET3 Noe ET's repair electronic equipment. The first step in checking equipment is to check the voltage. ET2 Adams checks to see if the equipment is receiving power. OI DIVISION CPORPAC Hughes LT Zajac LTJG Earle LTJG Harrison The Operations Specialists of OI Division collect, process, disseminate, and display tactical information to the CO, pilot house, and weapons control stations. They accomplish this by operating the dead reckoning tracer, surface and air search radar, radio telephones in CIC, CEC and Gun Plot, and also by manning status boards. They also manage the date bases for the Tomahawk and I-Iarpoon weapons systems.
