Lucy joined our class four years ago as a freshman from Voganville. She enjoys good humor. ln fact, she is a jovial addition to any group. Getzie has made many friends while in our school. Because she is majoring in home economics, she will cer- tainly make an efficient housewife in future years. As part of her home economics training, Lucy frequently lends a hand at noon in the cafeteria. Her hobbies are knitting and reading. She enjoys these pastimes very much. Getzie aspires to become a beautician after graduation. We know she will be an industrious addition to that field of en- deavor. 1- we Sniora Zell I During her twelve years at New Holland High School, Bet- 9 ty has taken an active part in the school program. She took the college preparatory course until her senior year, when she decided to study typing and shorthand. Betty has been working in her spare time as a telephone operator for the Enterprise Telephone Company. After graduation, she is considering attending Lancaster Business College, in order to get a job in the business world. Paul has been a member of our class for almost eleven years, having joined us in the latter part of his second school year. He has proven to be a very capable person and he is al- ways ready to do anything asked of him. Paul is a rather active member of the Town Clock News Business Staff. He has been advertising manager of that puba lication for the past two years. His favorite pastimes are hunting and fishing. Nothing proves more enjoyable to him than a bountiful catch of game or a lucky day with rod and reel. Paul's plans for after graduation are indefinite but we know he will be an able and useful citizen, regardless of what occu- pation he chooses. Having faithfully served this organization since ninth grade, she was appointed Corridor Lieutenant of the School Patrol this year. Music is one of loanne's main interests. She has been in the School Band and Senior Chorus for three years, and she has taken piano lessons since she was eight years old. This talent- ed lass was nominated to represent our school at both County Band and County Chorus in previous years. Typing is her favorite school subject and she intends to get a job after graduation in which she does office work. Evan Good Good September 4, 1933 Nubin Baseball 43,435 Leoninus Business Staff 443. Evan joined our class in ninth grade. Every morning he drives to school from Fivepointville. His interests cover several different types of activities. Among sports, baseball and hunting are his favorites. He is also interested in science and chemistry. Being a member of the Science Club, he is able to- learn much more about the subject than he could otherwise. Although Nubin is one of the more reserved members of our class, he has proved himself a congenial and pleasing friend to all. Evan is not entirely certain of his post-graduation plans, but we know he will be a valuable addition to any vocation. l fjlze .Simian l Linford Clayton Good ' Iuly 4, 1932 LYn Soccer 43,435 Baseball 43,437 Leoninus Business Staff 443. Lyn came to our class in ninth grade from Bowmans- ville. This blond, stocky-built lad has chosen baseball his fav- orite sport. l-le has been on the high school team and during the past two summers has played for the Bowmansville Iunior League. Lyn also enjoys hunting and skating. He does a great deal of both ice-skating and roller-skating. Most of his spare time is spent working on his car, which he likes to keep in the best of condition. After graduation Lyn plans to work for his father, who has a trucking business.
