Silence is Golden, is believed by this shy, easy-going lassie. Even though she doesn't have too much to say, she is usually ready with the right answer when called upon. . The opposite sex is of no interest to Elva at the present time, for her chief interests lie in read- ing. Elva attended Western School before joining us in the freshman year. She has no immediate am- bitions for the future but her accomplishments will probably be in the line of secretarial work. t u Robert Leroy Howe January 3, 1933 Bob Glee Club f1,2l. Coming' to New Holland from Centerville, Bob brouirht with him a most novel set of charac- teristics. His short stature is in no way a semblance to the amount of vigor he shows when attending any basketball or baseball games. Bob is a master of repartee and wit. Bob will in all probability follow the occupation of his father who owns and operates the Lan- caster County Swiss Cheese Company. If past achievements hold the least significance, he is certainly headed in the right direction. ---W ---T 7-1,-11 5 Page Twenty-four 3 5
