His name was Bill, the guy with the wise-cracks, a flashing smile, and a twinkle in his eye. Bill played an outstanding role as Jack, the crafty student, in the senior play. Every morning before school, he can be seen driving the truck for the West End Cleaning Service, where he is now employed. Bill plans to continue this business after graduation, and from his past achievements we're sure he'l1 have a prosperous career in the business world. The class of '50 received a great asset when Warner joined our ranks in the seventh grade. His pleasing personality helped him become acquainted with his classmates in a short period. Warner has had a big hand in many extra-curricular activities. He served on the T.C.N. for four years, the latter in the capacity of Associate Ed1t01'. This background was one of the main reasons for his being chosen as Leoninus editor. Warner was also a member of the baseball and basketball squads during his high school career. Oh, just Dick taking that corner a little too swiftly in that black u1c . He is one of the tall, slim boys of the class, who is always ready with a good hearty joke or prank. Dick has shown his athletic ability by playing halfback on our soccer team, but most of his time is spent working at Howe's Swiss Cheese Plant. Dick hasn't fully decided his plans for later years, but with his imaginative, creative nature, he is sure to do well in his chosen field. Dottie is one of the most versatile members of the class. She has proven her abilities in sports, music, leadership, as an outstanding feature writer for the T.C.N., and as Li1ah, the quick-tempered miss in the senior play. She is one of the few charter members of the class of '50. In her twelve years in the New Holland Schools, her personality has developed into one of prominence. Here are the committees for the next dance . . . one is able to hear Bill state, as he presides over the Student Council. Bill, our all-around boy of the class, may be seen in almost every sport and also supporting all the other activities of the school. Basketball is Bill's favorite sport. Starring as guard for the team, he has taken his responsi- bility very seriously. During' any extra time, we may find this lad working at Our Nearest Gulf Station, or with his Green Chevvy parked in Blue Ball. Our Alma Mater is going to miss Bill, but We can be confident of a splendid future for him. Clair Robert Gehman November 28, 1932 Clair Senior Play 145. Now Dad, you know I wouldn't hide anything from you. Yes those were Clair's words as he . , . . ' very ably portrayed the part of Junior 1n our senior play. This frisky little man joined our class in ninth grade after he had eompleted eight years of school- ing' at Greenbank. He has been taking' the commercial course in our New Holland School. Clair likes to do most anything, but his favorite pastime is horse-back riding.
