Clarence Arthur Renninger June 18, 1929 Rc1minge1 ' T. C. N. 1273 Photo Club C333 Chef Club C313 Alt f1,2J. Clarence is a quiet member of our class, but is a very hard worker in school. Although he was set back for two years be- cause of illness, he has won the admiration of teachers and pupils by not giving up, and he has come through with good marks. His pleasing personality has gained him many friends. Although he does not participate in any sports, he is a great rooter, and he seldom misses a game, whether it be basketball, baseball, or soccer. Clarence has not yet decided what he will do after gradua- tion, but he seems to be inclined toward i'lorist's work. V Clarence Earl Renninger June 3, 1931 Slim Baseball 63,413 Glee Club f1,2,3J. 5 Slim came to New Holland in 1945, after completing eight years of schooling at Union Grove. This tall, slim lad can be frequently seen participating in a heated discussion as to who is going in win the pennant or World Series. During his four years at New Holland, Slim contributed his bit to the baseball team by playing center iield. Slim is looking forward to a career of butchering at his father's meat market. , w

Wayne, our hard-working class treasurer, has been with us ever since our first grade. He has always been active in our class functions, and has held many offices. Although Wayne does not plan to make music his career, he is quite talented in this field . . . with a deep bass voice, and, in addition, he is a splendid cornetist. Besides his extra-curricular activities, this lad gets excellent marks in all of his subjects. The new girl from Salisbury, was the phrase used to de- scribe Doris, when she first joined our senior class. She wasn't called that long for her friendliness and swell personality helped her to get acquainted quickly. Every day she can be seen driving her trusty Oldsmobile to and from her home in White Horse. 1 On the hockey team she kept the players busy with her crafty p ays. At first glance, one gets the impression that Norm is quiet and modest, but looks are deceiving. His pleasing personality and politeness have won the friendship of many here in New Holland. In The Unseen Way, he played an exciting role as a shady butler. He also has two Salisbury plays to his credit. Flying is Norm's main interest, and his greatest ambition is to attend an aviation school. Margaret Erma Flo Sandoe July 7, 1931 Sandy Glee Club 1115 Chorus 12,3,4Jg T. C. N. Business Staff 143. Sandy traveled the rough road from New Holland Route 2, to Join our class in her freshman year. Her favorite pastime is talking, and evidence of this is found early in the mornings in Room 8. Sandy has a pleasing soprano voice, and it can often be heard ringing clearly from the shower room. After graduation she hopes to be an eHicient secretary. The 1 best of luck is our wish for you.
