Hard chemistry or algebraic prob- lems are easily solved by this stalwart mathematician. Other subjects also fall prey to his brilliant mind. Any arguments on farming are also settled by Bob. In the future he plans to settle down on the farm with a wife and later retire to a life of ease and luxury. Playing the Hawaiian guitar and carpentry are his favorite hobbies. Bill is one of the boys in the class who always seems to have a wise crack or remark for something. He came to us from Summitville, in ninth grade. Bill soon made his presence known by his friendliness and his arguments about sports. A He seems to have little time for girls and a casual interest in his studies. As a basketball player, Bill obtained all his skill and knowledge here since ninth grade. Bill has showed us that if he really wants to know about something he will stick to it until he does. Whenever there is a team, whether it be soccer, basketball or baseball, Fred'f is always found representing our class. Although not very talkative, Fred is very popular around the school, and can always take his part. Fred will probably be the eiiicient and capable owner of his father's lumber yard some day. Betty Lou Overly January 23, 1931 Betty Patrol 13,413 Glee Club 11,2,31g Track 11,21 Betty gets a big kick out of life, and she is well known among her friends for her constant giggles. Sports are one of her main interests. She can frequently be seen cheering the basketball team onward. If you should hear a hearty horn as you walk down the street, don't worry, for it's only Betty cruising around in her dad's Plymouth. A look into the crystal ball shows her as a clerk in a large l department store. ,l Henry Herbert Poole, fr. Photographer 12,3,41g Quill and Scroll 1415 Glee Club 11,2,3,41. Hold it is the favorite phrase of our class's gift to the world of photography, Herbert Poole. He served capably as T. C. N. photographer for three years. This experience gave him enough background to take a job in the Machine Company's Ad- vertising Department over the summer vacation. Herb can often be seen at the airport, for flying is one of his favorite hobbies. He plans to continue his education at Franklin and Marshall College in preparation for dentistry, following in the footsteps of his father.
