If you have seen a girl around school, who has big, brown eyes, you can feel sure that it is none other than that Goodville Hash, Margaret Peg Stroman. We can't decide just what Pe.g's plans are after school, because sometimes she says it's the Hard- ware Business, and other times it's making The Wright kind of bread. Peg is a studious girl, with her ifs and ands, do'in,g her best. Peg came to tus in the ninth grade and has been very popular ever since, especially loving to chatter to boys and in return boys love to chatter with her. - CHARLES HAROLD WEBER OCTOBER 20, 1915 NEW HOLLAND, PA. Why? Because he can master anything. He can juggle, act, sing, and is the Glen Cunninggham of New Holland High School. His favorite hobby art, and another is walking Margaret to school at noon time. Toot is the leader of our class, namely the president, and has proven successful in fuliilling his. job. Toot likes to hitch-hike, and has been to more places and seen more things than the whole class together. Any girl within a radius of twenty miles or further knows him and could possibly tell us at what dancie they were together. When it comes to being good-natured and liked by everyone, Weber heads the ist. MARY BAIR WEAVER DECEMBER 1, 1919 CHURCHTOWN, PA. Not only is she' outstanding in height, but also in classes. She is Mr. Shue's ofii-ce girl, and she is responsible for the changing of classes by ringing the buzzers in the various rooms. Mary is willing to help out in all that she is asked, and does it with a smile. Mary's favorite ex- pression in school is Oh Gee. She doesn't have too much to say, but is a swell sport all around. M1ary's ambition is to go further into the field of education, but she is taking Home Economics. 1Why'?1 - Page Eighteen 1--l---

She is noted for her quick comments. in English or Health class, one of the most common ones being Oh shuxf' Another thing Jane is noted for is her new names for dogs, cats, and even diners. Dot Zuck hopes to have a diner some day, and Jane's contriibution towards its name was Uneeda Dimmer. Anytime you hear an art student making a wise crack, you may be sure it is Jane. She is often seen with a certain Junior, namely Joe She takes part in assemblies and other plays around school, and is a good, all around sport. RE-ID ARTHUR SLJCK MAY 30, 1920 NEW HOLLAND, PA. Reid is quite a little boy . . . a little over six feet tall. He is the walking observation tower of the class, and his -height has enabled him to see many a para-d-e, which smaller people could not see. But height isn't the only asset Bash-full hasg his extemporaneous speeches 'are famous throughout the halls of New Holland High Schools. As cheerleader '1Teider's effort in ,getting the students to cheer, carried New Holland to its cham- pio-nsfhivp. This lucky fellow has recently received a nifty guitar as a -graduation gift, and we know he is well pleased, because his delight is to play stringed instruments. He's a true friend and a pal to everyone, especially the opposite sex. DOROTHY WITMER STOKES JANUARY 21, 1921 NEW HoLLANn, PA. ,- HARRY AMOS WITMAN APRIL 10, 1920 GooDv1LLE, PA. Sports Club 111 g Glee Club 11, 2, 3, 413 Ogeretta 141. Smit hails from the metropolis of Goodville. In class 1'ooms, with Mother Nature, or any other imaginable place you find Harry, he will always have a pleasant smile for you. Harry's afternoon naps and pranks have broken up more than one class. Whenever you see Harry, he's sprawled over a desk, drawing little automobiles, or decorating his assignment book. Smit's jokes are always laughable, and his imitations are unique. Harry's main weakness is his guitar, and some day we expect to hear of the famous Goodville Croonerf' ROSANNA LA VERNE WISE SEPTEMBER 22, 1919 BOWMANSVILLE, PA. Good Housekeeping Club 111 3 Glee Club 11, 2, 3, 41 5 Operetta 13, 41. This lass hails from the good little town of Bowmansville. She is one of the many passengers of the Bowmansville bus, and she has not missed a day of school, except when it was necessary. She does not have too much to say, and this is an asset to her, because she can do her lessons in study periods instead of talking. La Verne is slightly inclined toward the opposite sex in school, but we suspect she is interested in someone at Bowmansville, because we cannot catch her with any boy at school. She is a friend to all her classmates. She is Ethel's assistant salesman for the senior candy. DONALD KURTZ WRIGHT DECEMBER 30, 1919 NEW HOLLAND, PA. Hi-Y Club 1115 Class Officer 111 3 Glee Club 11, 2, 3, 41 3 Operetta 13, 413 Baseball 13, 41, Basketball 13, 415 Manager of the Senior Play 141, Leoninus 141, Town Clock News 1415 Patrol 111. 37-25, 51-12. No, it's not a football signal, but those figures are just a few of the scores that this handsome, blonde, flashy goal-getter has made to bring New Holland to the top in Basketball. Not only is he interested in basketball, but he varies his sports, and you could not name one sport he is not in- terested in. Hoodle is a very popular member of the senior class and also is popular throughout the entire high school. Besides being a good sport, Hoodle is also studious and is quite frequently heard emitting some bright remark in History or English classes. The girls are crazy about him, but he won't have anything to do with them, or will he? We kind of suspect things lately, because he seems interested in that cer- tain dark-eyed lass from Goodville, namely Peg - Page Nineteen i
